Ten
Throughout a child’s early years parents are generally seen as the greatest people around, but in time become just reference points where needed. That’s ok, that’s life! These images are my response to the realization that eventually our children will look for and find new heroes. Matisse will eventually stop playing with his imaginary characters and Alexia may become a pop star. Into adolescence they will be confused, excited, and adventurous; their long journey will be both light and dark. We will be there for them.
